The English Premier League presents yet another tough battle tonight with Arsenal to play against Liverpool at Anfield Stadium at 8pm exactly.

Despite going away, Arteta's squad has performed wonderfully in their last five recently played games. In the game, Arsenal played against Leicester on Wednesday 23rd September, 2020 in Carabao Cup gaining victory in a 0 – 2 FT; on Saturday 19th September, 2020, they played against West Ham in Premier League scoring 2 goals against 1; also played on Saturday 12th September, 2020 with Fulham in premier league ending 0 – 3 in their favour; played on Saturday 29th August, 2020 in FA Community Shield with Liverpool and the game was so hard which ended them a 1 – 1 draw but however, gained victory in a penalty shoot scoring 5 against 4; against MK Dons on Tuesday 25th August, 2020 in a friendly match, Arsenal won 1 – 4 FT.

Note: FT means Full Time and statistics leads from the most recent to recent.

Whereas:

Liverpool on their part too tried but won three and drew two in their last recent games. As shown thus;

On Thursday 24th September, 2020 in Carabao Cup, Liverpool played with Lincoln City winning in a 2 – 7 FT; on Sunday 20th September, 2020 in premier League battle against Chelsea, Liverpool won 0 – 2 FT; Saturday 12th September, 2020 also in a Premier League crash against Leads united, Liverpool clinched their victory in a 4 – 3 FT; on Saturday 29th August, 2020 against Arsenal, the game ended 1 – 1 FT and lastly on Tuesday 25th August, 2020 against Salzburg, FT result was 2 – 2.

Going by the two teams H2H though – Arsenal and Liverpool, Tonight's match is the 231st meeting between Arsenal and Liverpool.

The Reds have won 89 of the games while Arsenal has managed 80 wins for themselves and the other 61 ended as draws. Hence, in my opinion, the record for last season will motivate The Gunners to make waves tonight really.

In conclusion, it will be a difficult game, with Arsenal already having given the Reds a tough time in their last two meetings. As a living proof, in a pre-match press conference Liverpool's Manager – Jorgen Klopp praised the work of Mikel Arteta at the Emirates saying that, "Mikel Arteta showed in a very short period of time that he seems to be an exceptional football manager, obviously," also that,

"Because the team he sets up now, the structure of the team is absolutely exceptional; you can see the balance between defence and offence is really good.
