Edo Govt Reacts To The Looted Palliatives....

King Sparo recalls that residents of Edo state stormed a warehouse located at Medical Store Road, Benin City and carted away with food items and other medical supplies therein.

The residents believed that the items they catered away with are meant to serve as Covid-19 palliatives.

The Edo State government reacting to the incident said that the Government warehouse stored palliatives materials and medical supplies to serve as interventions in case of emergency.

According to the Government, the items looted includes vaccines, high-end equipment and other supplies.

The Government said the palliatives are not for COVID-19 as residents believes.

This was made known through a statement endorsed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Communication Strategy, Mr Crusoe Osagie..
