FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OPENS ONLINE PORTALS FOR NIGERIANS TO ACCESS N75BILLION SURVIVAL FUND

The federal government of Nigeria have opened an online portal for Nigerians to access N75billion survival funds. The portal was opened on Monday, September 21, 2020. The survival funds is conditional grant meant to support vulnerable micro and small enterprises in meeting their payroll requirements.

The grant is also meant to safeguard jobs in MSMEs from the negative impacts of Covid-19 in the country.

 

 

Interested persons are hereby informed that the portal for registration will be opened from 10pm Monday, September 21, 2020. The project delivery office has designed a registration schedule meant to ensure seamless registration process.

Registration for payroll support will start with educational institutions on Monday, September 21. On Friday, September 25, businesses in the hospitality industry will follow as from 12 A.M. Other business categories will start registration in the portal as from Monday, September 28, 2020.

 

 

 

Interested individuals should use this opportunity to sort some of the numerous problems caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The grant can definitely help small and micro businesses to pay some of the outstanding salaries owed to their workers. Payment of these salaries will ultimately help to safeguard people's jobs.
