Farmer Arrested For Killing A Fulani Headsmen In Ogbomoso By NSCDC

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested a 27 years old farmer for killing a Fulani herdsmen identified as Shuaibu Adamu.

It was reported that Adamu allowed his cattle to graze on the suspect farm at Elega village, Ikoyi, in Ogbomosho, Oyo State.

Oluwole Olusegun, the spokesperson for the NSCDC, confirmed the incident and the arrest of the farmer in a statement.



The Commandant of NSCDC in Oyo State Iskilu Akinsanya was quoted in the statement has saying that the suspect, a native of Ogbomoso, Was arrested of Friday by the Agro Ranger Squad of the Corps.

According to the statement, the items recovered from the suspect as of the time he was arrested include tools, such as scissors, hammer, saw and nail remover as well as mosquito net, three ATM cards and two apprentice identification cards.



The suspect was later handed over to the Oyo State Police Command for further investigation and prosecution.
