An acronym is an abbreviation formed by(usually initial) letters taken from a word or series of words, that is itself pronounced as a word, some of which includes RAM, RADAR(usually "radar") and some other acronyms. There are some abbreviations you do use everyday, but obviously don't know the meaning. You will be learning something new today. Below are the abbreviations:

1:POLICE:

 Public Officer For Legal Investigation And Criminal Emergencies. This is legally accepted. You can also abbreviated the word as Polite, Obedient, Loyal, Intelligent, Courageous, Efficient.

You must have been using the abbreviation "POS" for a while, but obviously don't know what it means. It means Point Of Sale. You can credit or debit from your bank account using the POS machine. 

3:LASER:

 LASER is an acronym of Light Amplification By The Stimulated Emission Of Radiation. It is known to be a device that produces a monochromatic and coherent beam of light. Some are deadly and dangerous, you can see how they are used in movies. 

4:RADAR:

 RADAR is an acronym for Radio Detection And Ranging. It is a method of detecting distant objects and determining their position, velocity, or other characteristics by analysis of sent radio waves, which is reflected from their surface.

5:DATE:

 DATE is an acronym of Day And Time Evolution. It is the given or assigned end of life, duration. 

6:GIF:

 GIF is an acronym for Graphics Interchanged Format. It is referred to as a bitmap image format for pictures with support for animations. If you are a WhatsApp user, you will know what GIF looks like. 

7:ASAP:

 ASAP is an abbreviation for As Soon As Possible. If you are the type that do find interesting in using short words, rather than long words. You can start using ASAP instead of As Soon As Possible. 

8:PIN:

 PIN simply means Personal Identification Number.

It is that which is used to confirm identity when using an ATM, or more recently when making payment using a credit card. 

9:SMART:

 SMART is an a acronym for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevantly, Timely. You can create a SMART goal for yourself, it helps to be successful. You need to be SMART to make it big. 

10:BAE:

 BAE is an acronym for Before Anyone Else. Some people do use the word without even knowing what it means. It's simple and easy, just Before Anyone Else.
