Most often a child's best friend is a stuffed animal or a doll.

Unfortunately when that doll is possessed by evil, the outcome isn't all that sweet.

This is a case of Robert Eugene Otto of Key west, Florida where he was almost killed by his doll.

Robert,other wise known as Robert the doll, Robert the enchanted doll, was a best friend to Robert Eugene Otto, of Key west Florida and was named after him.

He was a three foot straw filled doll in a sailor's suit and was said to be possessed by evil spirits.

Robert the doll was given as a gift to Robert Eugene Otto as a gift when he was still a little boy in 1906 by a Bahamian servant girl who was skilled in black magic and voodoo and was displeased with the family and in an order to exact her revenge, she used her extensive knowledge in black magic and placed a curse on the doll.
