These criminals take advantage of unsuspecting players by setting up fake betting shops, taking money from unsuspecting players, and claim to be able to give them ‘fixed games’ to stake on, then print out fake bet slips, and disappear.
A recent incident was seen in Aba, Abia State Nigeria, where this particular criminal told his unsuspicious victims that Melbet partners with some top rugby clubs, and tennis syndicates for match-fixing every week, which is totally false.

Victims are then told that the fixed games are available, only through shop agents of Melbet, and then informed that this is a special offer from Melbet to some of their agents, giving them printed and branded Melbet slips as tickets.

In a letter to state governors in the southwest, Prof. Banji Akintoye has alleged that the entire region has already been surrounded by terrorists.
Akintoye, who is the leader of Ilana Omo Oodua, the umbrella body for Yoruba self-determination groups said it is necessary for the governors to do something to safeguard the lives of properties of the people.

The remains of Pastor Dare Adeboye, the third child of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, was buried on Tuesday, May 11, amid tears and a free flow of emotions.
The young cleric who died in his sleep on Tuesday, May 4, in Eket, Akwa Ibom state, was buried after a Farewell Service at the Youth Centre, Redemption Camp, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, The Punch reported.

Legit.ng gathers that the Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners’ Chapel, David Oyedepo; his wife, Faith; as well as his son, Pastor David Oyedepo Jr, were also present at the service.
Dare was later buried in the presence of friends, family and church members. Until his death, the 42-year-old was the Assistant Pastor in charge of Region (Youth) 35 before.
His death shocked the whole world as well-meaning persons including presidents, governors, and personalities condoled the 79-year-old general overseer and his wife over the death of their son.
