Christiano Ronaldo Keeps Amazing Fans And The Entire World
~1.8 mins read
Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo netted his 102nd
international goal in a friendly match against Andorra on Wednesday,
moving one step closer to the record of 109 held by former Iran forward
Ali Daei. Portugal thrashed Andorra 7-0.
Ronaldo reached the 100th goal milestone during the Nations League match against Sweden in September.
Wolves
winger Pedro Neto gave Portugal an early lead, followed by a double by
Paulinho. Yesterday's match was the debutant performance for these two
representing Portugal.
Renato Sanches contributed the third goal in between Paulinho's double.
The fifth for Portugal resulted in Andorra's Emili Garcia turning the ball into his own net.
It
wasn't until the last five minutes of the game that Ronaldo extended
his international goal record as a substitute, before Atletico Madrid
forward Joao Felix sealed the deal at 7-0.
The 35-year-old
Juventus star tested positive for the coronavirus on October 13 and has
since missed the team's 3-0 victory over Sweden.
Elsewhere, France suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Finland and ended their 12-match winning streak.
World
champions France dominated possession and had the first clear chance
when Marcus Thuram's header crashed onto the crossbar, but Didier
Deschamps' side, without the injured Kylian Mbappe, lacked inspiration
throughout.
Marcus Forss and Onni Valakari scored in the first
half to give Finland their first win against Les Bleus, having lost all
their previous eight encounters going into the game in France.

the food that’s impossible to recreate in Tracy, California, where the
coronavirus pandemic has left her and her husband stranded.

Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood has named the club alongside Chelsea as two of the only sides who can challenge Liverpool and Man City for the EPL title.
Both Spurs and Chelsea have been in fantastic shape in recent weeks, posting impressive results to catapult them up the table standings.
The two clubs won their respective fixtures after the international break to momentarily top the charts.

Chelsea won 2-0 away at Newcastle United to move to the summit with 18 points, before Spurs stunned Man City at home on Saturday, November 21, by a similar scoreline to depose the Blues from top place.
In what has been an otherwise unpredictable season, Liverpool are placed fourth on the charts, with City, who were touted as clear favourites before the start of the campaign rooted further down in 10th.
In between the race to the top, Leicester City have squeezed themselves in third, and could move top should they win away at Liverpool on Sunday, November 22.
Fuel: FG, Labour Have Failed Nigerians - Vanguard Editorial
~2.0 mins read
THE movement of petrol pump price to N170 per litre is, again, threatening to rupture our economic and industrial harmony. This followed the hike by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, of the wholesale price of PMS from N147 to N155.
What it means is that between June and November this year, Nigerians have been made to cough out extra N61 per litre at a time they are still struggling with economic woes arising from the COVID-19 pandemic and sky-high inflationary costs, especially of foodstuff.
Predictably, the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC; the Nigerian Employers Consultative Association, NECA; and other organised groups within the economy, have risen in lamentation over the increased suffering this will bring.
The Minister of State Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva, has already debunked the notion that this is another Federal Government fuel hike. He reminded us that following the total deregulation of the downstream sector, the prices of refined products are bound to go up and down in response to changes in the international market.
He also blamed the price hike on the rise of crude oil prices due to the discovery of a COVID-19 vaccine by Pfizer.
No amount of explanation by the government can exonerate it of its failure to fix the age-old problems of our downstream petroleum sector. It had promised to reform the sector by fighting corruption, reviving the refineries and facilitating the establishment of modular refineries. Incidentally, President Muhammadu Buhari has been the Minister in charge of that portfolio.
Yet, almost six years into his tenure the situation he met in 2015 remains the same. The only noticeable change in the sector is a poorly-executed “deregulation†which still keeps the NNPC as the sole petroleum products importer and dictator of wholesale prices.
We have been ardent supporters of deregulation, but not the way it has been handled by this regime. The deregulation of the industry without first making Nigeria self-sufficient in local refining of petroleum products is a failure of governance. Deregulating amidst continued monopoly of importation of products by the NNPC is a total abandonment of the suffering citizenry to the vagaries of the international oil market.
Government only wants to harvest money from the people and spend rather than do the dirty work of reforming the sector and fixing our refineries.
Unfortunately, Organised Labour, which the people have come to look up to, to pressure the Federal Government to do its job, has failed our expectations.
There are no alternatives to making Nigeria self-sufficient in local refining of petroleum products. We must fix our refineries and build new ones. It is only in today’s Nigeria that such an elementary science is made to appear herculean.
Constitutional Referendum Already Begun In Algeria
~3.1 mins read
Algeria held a referendum on a revised constitution on
November 1.
After “consultations with
the parties concerned, it was decided to set the date of 1 November 2020
for the holding of the referendum on the draft revision of the
Constitutionâ€, the presidency said.
That date also marks the anniversary of the start of Algeria’s 1954-1962 war for independence from France.
Tebboune
came to power in a presidential election last December after an
unprecedented months-long protest movement that had forced longtime
president Abdelaziz Bouteflika to resign the previous April.
Even official figures put turnout in the poll at less than 40 percent.
The demonstrations only petered amid the social distancing necessitated by the coronavirus early this year.

If you’re wondering the way to quit por’nography, you’re not alone. Quitting por’n doesn’t need to be so complicated, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. If you would like to quit watching por’nography , it’s definitely going to take some intentional work, and that I encourage you to get real acquainted with these six steps.
Step 1: You need to want to quit watching por’nography .
The first part of quitting por’n is you actually need to want to quit it. You would have to be tired and sick of por’nography and also the sickness that it causes you so as to quit. If you're not committed, you'll only be quitting until the subsequent time you look. Deep inside you've got to want to get rid of it out of your life.
Step 2: You have to be willing to try a different way.
Secondly, you've got to be willing to try and do stuff you haven’t done before. Seriously, if you keep quitting a similar way, you’re likely to fail again. To quit, you've got to give up what you’ve been doing and do what you've got to do.
Step 3: You need to be brutally honest with another person.
Thirdly, you've got to inform somebody else about your struggle and desire to break free. This person could be, a close friend, your wife, a clergy, or a mentor. Somebody has got to know the reality about your por’nography usage for you to get and stay free.
Step 4: You need to get rid of all your por’nography .
Next, you've got to try and do what I call “clean house.†you've got to get rid of the por’n in your possession. Throw away the discs, magazines, anything you've used as por’nography, and ensure to dump and clean out your computer. This can be just a start, some you have to tidy the house regularly.
Step 5: You also need to block por’nography from coming in.
The next step is you've to block entry points. this implies to have a por’nography blocker and accountability software like Covenant Eyes on your phone, the PC at home, and at the office. If you have people sending you compromising emails, block them. Unsubscribe from por’nography websites. You'll need to decide if credit cards are obstacles. Only you know how por’nography is coming into your life. If you had a gun to your head you'll block entry points within a minute.
Step 6: You need a friend to help you stay on track.
Finally, get accountable to a person on a day to day about your por’nography usage. Make a call each day and a commitment to call this person before you even consider watching por’n. people that set consequences for por’nography relapse do better. Seriously, if you view por’n, set a consequence. Some guys run laps, give money to the people they don’t like, do leg lunges for a half-mile, deny themselves some privilege or simply pick up trash on the highway for a couple of hours.
A por’n-free life is a better life. You have to decide that you are worth living por’nography free. I believe you’re worth it but your behavior will show you if you are. Don’t believe your words. Believe only your behaviors; otherwise, you can be in denial as to your commitment to being por’n free.
