~0.9 mins read
Bandits operating within Katsina and Zamfara States, on Monday, attacked the convoy of the Zamfara State Commissioner of Security and Home Affairs, Hon. Abubakar Dauran, killing his driver on the spot.

DAILY POST gathered that many persons were also injured in the attack.

Our correspondent gathered that the incident occurred when the commissioner was coming from Katsina State where he had gone to hand over the 26 kidnapped minors rescued by Zamfara State Government to the Katsina State Government.

When contacted, the state police command confirmed the incident, saying that the armed bandits did not confront the commissioner and his convoy directly.

In a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Gusau, the state capital, the police spokesman, SP Mohammed Shehu, said the convoy was caught in a crossfire by two bandits groups.

“The government delegation led the commissioner of Security and Home Affairs, Hon. Abubakar Dauran was caught in a crossfire between two warring bandits groups at Dogon Karfi, GidanJaji, along Zurmi – Jibiya road, in Zurmi Local Government area of Zamfara State,” the statement said.

Shehu appealed to the general public to always assist the security agencies with useful information that could lead to the arrest of bandits.

Footage has surfaced showing former Super Eagles defender who is now a pastor, Taribo West, claiming Donald Trump will win the much-contested US presidential election over Joe Biden.

The US presidential election which took place on Tuesday, November 3, recorded an enormous amount of votes, but the counting ran into days as a result of the mail-in ballots.

Democrats' candidate Biden was projected to win the elections having already raked 290 Electoral Votes to Trump’s 214 as he also led with more than four million general vote counts.

Any candidate with at least 270 Electoral Votes will emerge winner and with 290 to his credit, Biden has been declared president-elect.

Several clerics in Nigeria who are famous for dishing out prophecies as they claim they ‘foresee the outcome of future events' have also had their say on the elections.

Pastor Taribo West is seen in footage stating that incumbent president Donald Trump will win the election as he further directed that he should be ‘quoted anywhere’.

He said:

"Before the election in Edo, I said Obaseki would win; is that true? Did he win? Nobody said it anywhere, nobody quote it anywhere.
“I also said it here before Ondo election... Akeredolu would win; is that true? Did he win? Now I want you to shoot this out the way I want it, Donald Trump will win the election with a slight-split edge over Joe Biden, so quote me and I want it to be out before time."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Apostle Johnson Suleman, the president and senior pastor of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide (OFM), has stated that the new US president-elect would be impeached for his vice to take-over.

In a prophecy which appeared to have been made before the US presidential election, Apostle Suleman claimed he was told by God that President Trump would not be re-elected.

Suleman further added that the new president, after his victory, would be given a marching order for his vice president to take over the mantle of leadership sooner or later.

Pastor Chris Says
~2.4 mins read

In a recent sermon, Pastor Oyakhilome forecasted that if Americans, especially Christians believe that everything in their nation and around the globe will be as they have ever dreamed, then they are wrong, PM News reports.

The cleric warned Christians not to be fooled into thinking that the defeat of Donald Trump will end the problems they face presently.

Flashback: He'll be impeached - Apostle Sulaimon forecasts what will happen to Trump's successor (video)
He said:

“If you are a Christian, better know this. Don’t think that if we just get Trump out of the way then everything will just calm. It will not be calm. They hate you and he seems to protect you, that is the problem."
The famous Nigerian pastor claimed that Trump lost his popularity among the American elite due to two factor: the first being that he did not go to them for sponsorship during his campaign in 2015 and that secondly, the former US leader supported Christians while in power.

US 2020: Everything won't be calm after Trump leaves White House - Oyakhilome

Oyakhilome noted that before Trump's victory in the 2015 presidential election, he was the darling of the American aristocracy, but after assuming office, he became an obstacle.

His words:

“They are angry at Trump for supporting Christians. So the real ones they hate are you who are Christians. That is what the hatred of Trump is all about. It’s got nothing to do with Trump.
US election: Joe Biden becomes America's second Catholic president-elect since JF Kennedy
“Before he started giving his voice in support of Christians and before he started giving his voice in support of Israel, he was their darling, they loved him.
"But because he didn’t come for their sponsorship and they didn’t expect him to become President, they blamed the Christians for voting him into office and that is what they hate him for."
Meanwhile, Trump had given conditions under which he would consider a peaceful transfer of power.

The president is willing to commit to a smooth transfer of power if his campaign's legal efforts at challenging the election result fails.
