Bandits Kill 15, Injure Many At Juma’at Prayers In Zamfara

Bandits who pretended to be worshippers hid their AK-47 rifles in their clothes and attacked a Juma’at mosque in Zamfara State killing about 15 people.
The attack by the terrorists in Juma'a mosque at Ruwan town of Bukkuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State has left many worshippers injured while others are still missing.
Although there's no report from police or the state government, but a source said that the Friday attack “came just 3 weeks after the bandits attacked a Friday mosque in Zugu town where about forty five people had been abducted by the terrorists.”

“The terrorists hid their AK-47 rifles in their clothes as they pretended to be worshippers. They came to the Juma'a mosque on motorcycles but no one suspected that they are criminals. All of us thought they come for the weekly prayers. As soon as the Friday prayers commenced they started shooting at the worshippers.”
“15 people have been killed while many worshippers sustained injuries.The death toll may increase as there're many residents who were still missing after the incident,” the source said.
