Edo 2020: Oshiomhole Proves Himself King of Edo Politics At His Apana Ward

Former APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole on Monday underscored the fact he is the biggest politician Edo State at his Ward, Apana in Edo North, which from all indications will be a clean sweep for APC candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu in the September 19 gubanetorial election.

The APC ward to ward campaign, which he spearheads witnessed the largest tournout, as all residents of the agrarian town thronged the streets to demonstrate their support for their worthy son who also served as Governor of the State for eight years.

The reception was like no other, as the people embarked on a road show, dancing to the music of popular Edo musician Young Bolivia. 

The event got even more interesting on the arrival of Oshiomhole, whom they refer to as their  Son, the people while celebrating APC's developmental stride especially in their locality made it clear that PDP will not get any votes from their community.

 It got emotional after the eldest man in the community, Elder Isaac, took to the podium to narrate how Oshiomhole had turned Apana around to become better, and as such they love him so much and had since resolved to make sure PDP got no votes in their community.

Oshiomhole, seeing the love shown to him by his people, couldn't help but to knelt down to Elder Isaac while the mammoth crowd roared in  jubilation.

Oshiomhole, on his part,  assured the people he would seek  justice for the injured victims of gunshots from Philip  Shaibu and his thugs in Apana.

He also thanked his people for standing by him and promised to take care of the victims which includes an orphan.

The candidate of the APC Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu reeled out his developmental plan for Apana using the SIMPLE Agenda. 

Recall that Obaseki and Shaibu some weeks back were in Apana, Etsako West to campaign, but had an empty campaign ground as there was nobody from the community to receive them. 

In face of severely depleted ego, Philip Shaibu then ordered armed men to shoot sporadically to instill fear in the people of Apana, who didn't show up for the PDP ward rally.

Shaibu a few days ago was allegedly involved in the nefarious act in JATTU, where APC rally also witnessed a massive turnout.

Heb had imported thugs to stop the people of Jattu from attending, and destroyed the podium of the rally several times,  which necessitated the change of venue three times.

But in spite of the frustrations, Jattu people still came out in large number to showcase their solidarity and support for Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and the APC campaign train. 

It is also no longer news that since the beginning of the APC ward to ward campaign in Edo North, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has been enjoying the love of traditional rulers who bestowed on him honorary chieftaintacy titles, with three titles so far.
