The reigning Ooni of Ife is Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja the second and he is the 51th Ooni of Ife. He is an offspring of the 44th Ooni of Ife, Ojaja Orasigba who reigned in the year 1878 to 1880. Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja the second was installed as Ooni of Ife by Governor Rauf Aregbeeola five years ago after he had defected 21 other princes who contented for the throne. 

The position of Ooni of Ife as a King is very powerful among the Yorubas but many of us didn't know much about the family of our dear king. The name of His Imperial majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi is prince Ropo and his mother is late Margaret Wuraola Ogunwusi. The Ooni is currently 46 years old.
