The Day I Met Him..(3)...A Story By E PLUS The Storyteller.

The next day was Saturday, I was quite laid back, heavy and tired. The kind of feeling you get when you have too much fun, dancing(Lol). Lanre, was such a stepper! Anyway I still did not fall my hand sha! I tried all the steps I could remember... Hmm..the Saturday was really dragging so I thought I should just make toast bread and egg sauce(My favourite combination.). I managed to stand up when I heard the door bell, ring. That was quite unexpected, because, actually I wasn't expecting any visitor(at least, none that I could remember.).
Quickly, I straightened up my hair and headed for the door.
Immediately I opened it, I saw a despatch rider with a box in his right arm.
Ad
"Good Morning.." He said, with a baritone.
"Hi..Good Morning." I instantly replied.
"Are you, Kelechi?" He inquired.
Quite hesitant, I replied with a nod. Then he handed me a note to sign, as he handed me the box.
"This is for you, ma'am." He said.
Then, I glanced at the inscription which actually bore my name and surname: Kelechi Ndubisi. I signed afterwards.
"Thank you." The despatch rider said and walked away. Immediately I entered the house, I began to ponder over the parcel. I wasn't expecting any, and couldn't remember telling anyone that I needed anything, it wasn't even my birthday, I took a deep breath, looked at the parcel for a while, then proceeded to open it.
I was amazed at what I saw!
