BREAKING: Dbanj Finally Opens Up On N-power Fraud Allegation

Nigerian singer, Oladapo Oyebanji, popularly known better as D’banj, has called on the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to carry out its investigation thoroughly while urging the general public to resist the urge to buy into media sensationalism.
He lamented that the media has been awash with reports of him being in ICPC’s custody concerning unestablished allegations of fraud.
He said it has become crucial to make a statement for clarity and to set public records straight.
This was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by Maryam El-Yakub Musa, the legal adviser to D’banj.
Recall that ICPC on Wednesday confirmed the arrest and detention of D’Banj, over the investigation of fraud associated with the N-Power Programme.
However, D’banj said he has no contractual or incidental relationship whatsoever with any group or persons within or outside the Government.
Part of the statement read: “It is instructive to state foremost that the report concerning the arrest and detention of Mr Daniel Oladapo Oyebanjo is misconceived, malicious and prejudicial to the justice system anywhere in the world, and we would advise that the general public be well guided.
“For the record, D’banj has no such contractual or incidental relationship whatsoever with any group or persons within or outside the Government in relation to the disbursement, operations, access or control of the operation of any government fund through an agency or its subsidiaries.
“D’banj has encouraged the Commission to carry out its investigation thoroughly to ensure that characters attempting to bring him into such ridiculous activities must be brought to book.

Family Of Bride Crushed To Death Weeks To Her Wedding Protest In Lagos

The family of Immaculate Okochu, a young woman crushed to death on her way to work in Lagos just weeks to her wedding have protested her death.
The woman's fiance, Etomi led others to the front of a branch of Coldstone, a restaurant where she worked, with placards carrying different inscriptions.
They also pasted placards on the glass of the restaurant and on the bonnet of the vehicle parked at the front.
Her fiance had earlier blamed her death on the stress placed on her by the restaurant.
He shared on Instagram: “How can I survive this wicked world without you? I warned you about Cold stone, they are bloodsuckers they don’t care about you. All they care is their money. I asked to resigned you said baby wait you will at the right time. Every day cold stone keep stressing your life.
“I keep telling you don’t let cold stone kill you for me. Oh, they finally kill you for me. They achieved their wishes. They made you go through pains until you die. They use you. They have your pictures of you on their Advert yet they won’t pay you. They made you suffer until you die. You complained of Mr Dapo everyday problem.
“I hope he’s happy now that you are no more. Baby guess what? Cold stone still continue with work. Someone has already replaced you. What I told you and warned you about has come to reality. Baby how can I recover from.â€

BREAKING News: APC Female Aspirant,Hon Madalene Abducted On Election Day.

The All Progressive Congress (APC) House of Assembly aspirant eyeing the ticket of Qua’an Pan South State Constituency of Plateau in the 2023 general elections, Hon. Na’anyil Magdalene Dakogol, has been kidnapped.
The spokesperson of the Plateau Police Command, Ubah Gabriel, confirmed the development, saying the commissioner of police had sent tactical team to rescue the victim.
Hon. Madalene was kidnapped on the day her party conducted the primaries.
Na’anyil, who is the only female aspirant of the APC in the race, was on her way to meet with delegates of the party ahead of the primaries scheduled for Kwalla town of Qua’an Pan LGA of the state, when she was abducted.
A source from the area said, “The Honourable was to see a delegate on Wednesday but they gave her 5:30 am of Thursday for her to meet them. She left alongside her brother to Goeragas and they could not locate the house, her brother came down of the car and went into the community to make inquiry.
“He left her inside the car, but to his greatest shock did not see her when he came back. Her phones were all inside the car but he could not see her.
